Paper Potter is an award winning wooden tool that enables you to make seedling pots from old newspapers. Newspaper pots can be planted in the garden as they are biodegradable, and the new roots will grow through the newspaper as it rots away. Paper Potter is made from FSC wood and is presented in an unbleached recycled cardboard box which is printed with full instructions.
How do you use Paper Potter?
- Cut dry newspapers into strips (approx. 8cm x 57cm)
- Roll a strip of newspaper loosely around Paper Potter and fold excess paper over the end
- Press end with folded in paper onto the base of Paper Potter, to mould pot
- Remove pot and fill with compost
Paper pots can also be used as molds for making bird food (mixture of fat and seeds).
